Mark Shreeve - Legion (1985)
Had to really hunt for a decent image and then do a lot of work to clean these up!
By the way, I do this because I’m really anal about having full mp3 artwork on iTunes. ;)

“This is no faux, wannabe project either. …seeing such a new talent at a formative stage in what I hope will be a long and successful career turned out to be one of the high points of the entire evening.”
Mark Shreeve ~ Crash Head (1988)
Images from discogs, cleaned up by myself.
This is the Mark Shreeve video I was talking about yesterday. This never gets old. I can never decide if this is something I want to aspire to or avoid…!
Mark Shreeve - “Assassin” (1983)
Images from discogs and cleaned up by myself.
This is the one with the “Assault on Precinct 13” cover version, which isn’t as good on record as the macho nerd version in the live video from 1994.

Mike Oldfield, from ‘Mike Oldfield’s Single’ otherwise known as Tubular Bells or the theme from ‘The Exorcist’, 1974
~ Another big influence, although not this piece specifically

Artwork for Jon Anderson’s ‘Olias Of Sunhillow’ (1976)
Found online and cleaned up a bit, the second lyric sheet is the only part I couldn’t find in hi-res.
This album is eitherreally hippy dippy or hardcore space-fantasy, depending on your mood. Kind of Space Tolkien. Inspired by the space sail ship on Roger Dean’s cover to Yes’s album ‘Fragile’, but actually illustrated by David Fairbrother Roe. This is some deep nerdery.
Some trees, roots et cetera from my visit to the Lake District a couple of weeks ago.
With about as much finesse, and certainly as much pan and zoom, as a schools documentary on the Bayeux tapestry, I have assembled a video for Crisis In Gamma Zone. Mostly made from scavenged clips I was thinking of using for live visuals.
